  • What is the weather like in the area?
    September in St. Louis can be anywhere around 70 degrees and sunny or warmer.
  • Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
    Formal attire, along with colors and florals are encouraged!
  • What is the dress code for your wedding?
    We ask that you wear semi-formal, or formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress for women and a suit and tie for men.
  • Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
    The ceremony will be indoors, and the reception will be outdoors (weather permitting!).
  • Do you have a hotel block?
    Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at The Streets of St. Charles Drury Plaza Hotel. Refer to the Johnson Wedding or use the code 10108053 for the room block.
  • What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding locations?
    If you stay at the The Streets of St. Charles Drury Plaza Hotel, then transportation will be provided to and from each location. We will have shuttles picking up guests to take them to the ceremony, back to the hotel for a break, then to the reception venue for the start of cocktail hour. A shuttle service will be available starting at the beginning of the reception, and making trips to and from the hotel throughout the evening to ensure guests can return safely.
  • Am I allowed to bring my children?
    We love children, but due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate children of close family members. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a relaxing evening with us!
  • Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
    Plus ones are welcome if indicated on your invitation. Please check your invitation for details!
  • Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
    Yes, we will have meal options available for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies. Please let us know your specific needs when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • What type of food will be served at your wedding?
    We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a plated sit-down dinner with a salad and a choice of 2 entrees.
  • Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
    Yes, there will be a time gap between the ceremony and the reception. The shuttle will take you back to the hotel after the ceremony so that you can freshen up, grab a snack, or entertain yourself before it takes you to the reception.
  • Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
    We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos during our unplugged ceremony to fully enjoy the experience and the beauty of the cathedral. However, feel free to take photos at the reception! Please be respectful of our photographers and videographers and avoid getting in their way.
